Societies and groups are welcome all year round at Epsom, which has a reputation for being one of Surrey’s friendliest private members clubs, founded in 1889. The 18 hole course is unique, offering a wide variety of holes which provide a challenge for golfers of all levels, and is renowned for its undulating year-round greens that test even the smoothest of putters. An advantage of Epsom is that the course lies on the top of the North Downs and this brings two benefits: firstly, because the subsoil is chalk the course is seldom affected by rain, making it one of Surrey’s driest courses – a great winter destination, and secondly, visitors enjoy stunning panoramic views of London’s iconic skyline. The club’s catering team ensures a very high level of cuisine, providing an extensive range of fresh food options. Food can be served in the traditional atmosphere of our oak-beamed dining room with its balcony and fine views over the 18th or, for smaller gatherings, in the Committee room. Traditions are strong at Epsom and one is to warmly welcome all visitors to this traditional members’ golf club.
