The Course is a balanced mix of left and right doglegs and angled, well protected greens make strategy and accuracy the premium over length.
Although the fairways are tree lined, the wooded areas and rough are well maintained with speed of play in mind.
With a very popular and highly regarded Pro-Am in April, the course and particularly the greens are revived from winter to be in outstanding condition earlier than many local clubs. It is this effort that produces an excellent playing surface early in the year which the green keepers retain for the whole season. With fairly large mature greens, putting requires consideration and respect of the subtle movement on the fine and true playing surfaces.
The 18th hole is played right back to the clubhouse and there can be no better way to spend time than on the terrace of the 19th hole overlooking fellow golfers finishing their rounds.
