Welwyn Garden City Golf Club
Welwyn Garden City Golf Club was founded in 1923 and is the home Club of Sir Nick Faldo and Walker Cup player, Tom Lewis, who turned professional in 2011 and secured his European Tour Card by winning the 2011 Portugal Masters in only his third professional tournament.
The Club has the reputation for consistently providing members and guests with one of the best courses inHertfordshire. It also offers excellent dining and drinking facilities, and a warm, friendly welcome.
It is a traditional but progressive members’ club with over 600 playing members. It has an active membership, friendly clubhouse atmosphere, and a strong junior section. Societies and visitors are very welcome during the week, with some availability for visitors at weekends.
The busy social calendar contributes to encouraging a social membership of around 150 people.
Welwyn Garden City Golf Club provides a warm welcome to golf societies and the course provides an attractive challenge to golfers of all levels. Many societies, including some from as far away as the South Coast and Scotland, return year after year to enjoy the course and hospitality.
We are happy to host a variety of days ranging from small societies to large corporate or charity days and are in the vicinity of three reasonably priced hotels and a vast number of local bed and breakfast establishments. We employ friendly staff to ensure your day runs as smoothly as possible and have excellent catering and bar facilities. Availability permitting, you can book any day during the week.
You can play 18, 27 or 36 holes and our packages can be adapted to meet the smallest or largest of needs.
Packages start from £36 per person during the main season.
