Six club teams qualify for England Golf national final
Six golf club teams from Berkshire, Hampshire and Buckinghamshire have played their way into the national final of an England Golf championship.
They all won through a regional qualifier and will take part in the final of the English Club Team Championship on Monday, 8 August in the England Golf Week at Frilford Golf Club, Oxfordshire.
They successful six are:
Lambourne Golf Club in Buckinghamshire, represented by Anne-Marie Gilbert, Gillian Hepsworth, Martin Hamilton and Neil Stubbings.
Newbury & Crookham Golf Club, Berkshire, represented by Ian Worth, Jill Edwardes, Jo Grieve and Seif Morbi.
Caversham Heath Golf Club, Reading, represented by Clive Adamson, Duncan Mee, Jane Weller and Sheila Evans.
Royal Winchester Golf Club, Hampshire, represented by Don Goss, Julie Newbold, Helen Wright, and Pete Wright.
Magnolia Park Golf & Country Club, Buckingham, represented by Mike Pennick, Anne Terry, Jenny Wynd and David Cronin.
Temple Golf Club, Berkshire, represented by Penny Johnston, Sarah Pallot, Stuart Cripps and Ross Wilson.
They will meet qualifiers from three other regional events at the national final. It will be a feature of Golf Week, staged by England Golf to create a national grand finale for a host of handicap and team championships.
The regional final was played at Temple Golf Club.
