The Hayling Golf Club was founded in 1883 by members of the Sandeman family. The club has a rich history involving many celebrities, wartime activities, and improvements by well-known course architects.

Hayling is one of the few true links courses on the South Coast of England, and one of the very few with panoramic views of the sea and surrounding coastline. From most holes you can see across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. The windswept fairways and fast greens make it a challenge for even the best golfers.

The 3-storey Art Deco style clubhouse provides Bar and Dining facilities for golfers and members and guests, complimented by the wrap-round balcony surrounds the bar and restaurant, with magnificent views over the beach, course and lake. The Clubhouse and facilities are ideal for hosting functions, catering for groups ranging from 20-150 guests and can be hired for conferences, private parties, wedding receptions, classes etc.

Hayling Golf Club offers both golf and social membership. All members received discount on their food and drink purchases at the Club, preferential rates on room hire for functions, access to the beach, use of the extensive clubhouse facilities and access to attend Club functions such as our annual Summer Ball, New Years Eve Ball, Catering Special Evenings, Bistro Dining Evenings, Summer BBQ events, Captains Charity Events etc.
