England have got plenty of Patience when it comes to European Young Masters

ENGLAND have chosen the quartet of Jack Bigham, Josh Hill, Patience Rhodes and Lottie Woad to represent them in the European Young Masters later this month.

The 54-hole championship takes place from July 25-27 at Kunětická Hora in the Czech Republic. The players picked, who are all aged 15, are:–

Jack Bigham, from Hertfordshire’s Harpenden GC, has had top 10 finishes in the Peter McEvoy Trophy and the Sir Henry Cooper Junior Masters this season.

Dubai-based Josh Hill, is a member of the England Golf Boys’ Squad and was in the winning England team at the 2018 Boys’ Home Internationals.

Patience Rhodes, from Somerset’s Burnham & Berrow, is an England U16 international and represented GB&I in the Junior Vagliano Trophy which was won by Continental Europe at Royal St George’s last week.

Farnham GC’s Lottie Woad won the Midland U16 Championship earlier this season and became the youngest-ever Surrey Ladies Amateur Champion at Worplesdon, in April, breaking a record once held by Laura Davies.

The teenager, who is a member of England Golf’s South Region Girls Squad, has just been crowned the Surrey Schools Champion for the second year in a row.

Farnham’s Lottie Woad, who was crowned the youngest-ever Surrey Ladies Amateur Champion in April, breaking a record once set by Laura Davies in the process.
